Wales meet Japan in Rugby World Cup (RWC) 2007 in the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff on the 20 Sep in pool ‘B’. This will be the third occasion the countries have met in the RWC, with Wales having won both previous encounters 57-10 in 1995 and 64-15 in 1999.
Wales Japan Preview
Wales will expect to proceed out of Pool ‘B’ and in achieving this feat should defeat the Japanese by 40 points or more. We expect the Welsh pack to provide the backs with a good supply of ball and the backs to run Japan ragged. Look out for Colin Charvis getting a run out again for Wales causing havoc, with Mike Phillips and James Hook combining at halfback to release the back line.
Wales 40/1
Japan 5000/1
Updates to this preview will follow closer to the 2007 Rugby World Cup and as odds on the match itself become available we will let you know.
