Wales took their chances and played running rugby as they recorded a comfortable win against the Pumas in Cardiff. Leading 13-3 at the break, thanks to a quick witted score from fly-half Stephen Jones who out-foxed the Pumas with a tap and run penalty when they expected him to go for the posts.
The second period and wing Shane Williams claimed the other two, gathering a charge down to score before fielding a loose Pumas kick to go under the posts.
Martin Rodriguez scored all Argentina’s points, including a try from rival centre Jonathan Davies’ error. Bringing us to the final score of:
Wales 33-16 Argentina
