The Waratahs wear a strip of blue shirts, dark blue shorts and blue socks. The logo is the red state flower a waratah from whence the team name is drawn. The blue shirt has been pulled on by many internationals but the best known are probably: Matt Burke, Wendell Sailor and Chris Whitaker.

The New South Wales Waratahs also called the Waratahs or simply the Tahs are an Australian Super 15 rugby union team, representing New South Wales. The side was previously also represented in the Super Six, Super 10 and Super 12 competitions. The record to-date is a loss in the last Super 12 final and a third place finish in the inaugural Super 14's plus a third in 2002.

The Waratahs play their home games in the 42,000 capacity Aussie Stadium, Moore Park, Sydney, New South Wales. The stadium has also hosted international match's in both Rugby Union and Rugby League.
